La Cantina - a family business 

La Cantina was founded in 2002 by the original founders Rudy and Sylviane, with as main activity trading raw materials destined for the production of pet food.

Rudy accounted for more than 30 years of experience in the industry of pet food raw materials and has been able to develop a wide network, in the whole of Europe, in addition to a thorough knowledge of the market. In 2020-2021 a family acquisition process was started by which Jonas Van daele and Sophie Spruyt took over the firm. This ensures that La Cantina is managed in the same familiar and family-like way. Our vast network, the family acquisition, and our commitment to the wellbeing of pets are our strengths in this niche market.

La Cantina is a broker in the broadest sense of the word. We do not have any transport activity, production or storage. This means that we fully commit ourselves to service: both client and supplier are completely relieved in the areas of administration and logistics, which La Cantina accounts for.
